Meet Our Team

Chris Brosh and family in mountains

Chris Brosh, Owner

Growing up in Bella Vista and going to Bentonville schools, Northwest Arkansas has always been my playground. At a young age, I understood my love of the outdoors and developed many hobbies involving our beautiful rivers, lakes and mountains. While I rode bikes some as a kid, it was the inception of Slaughter Pen Trails in Bentonville that really spawned my interest in bikes and the community they created.  Over the years I have developed a love for any type of riding on bicycles.  However, I gravitate mostly to my overland bike now and love long adventures combining scenic dirt roads, forest service roads and singletracks.  My passion for working in this industry comes from seeing the evolution of physical and mental health in those that discover cycling.  At Phat Tire Bike Shop, we truly believe that "Bicycle Experiences Change Lives."

Tim Robinson, Owner

My greatest joy from my involvement in the cycling movement is that it brings people together and creates value for each community.  Seeing people on bikes represents freedom and quality of life.  It is pure joy in every case.  You can usually find me at the Walmart Home Office, but I also love to visit our shops, ride my bikes, and watch our wonderful community evolve.  I sincerely enjoy living and playing in Northwest Arkansas, meeting new friends and creating great memories through riding.  I look forward to many more in both Arkansas and Oklahoma.

Nickel Potter, Vice President

I enjoy cycling because it makes me feel like I am flying.  To me, freedom is a bicycle.  This silent form of self-powered transportation has taken me on 3 Trans-American tours, and has now landed me the best job I have ever had.  It brings me pleasure every time I get to give the gift of cycling to another.  When I am not at the shop making people's bicycle dreams come true, you can find me out in the woods on my mountain bike, on a gravel road loop, or on a fully loaded, self supported tour.

Kelly Eager, Director of Training and Human Resources

Born and raised in rural Ohio, I rode a lot of chip and seal roads past endless rows of corn and soybeans on the skinniest tires imaginable. It allowed time to think, opportunities to push personal speed records, and time for deep conversations with close friends. Life took me away from bikes briefly, but I got back in the saddle in my thirties to diversify my workouts as an aging endurance trail runner. A career crossroads made it possible to work in the cycling industry for Trek Bicycle and changed my family’s life for the better. Bikes brought me and my family to Arkansas – where we fell in love with the gorgeous vistas, clean water, and humbling dirt. It’s an honor to get to work with the wonderful people at Phat Tire and see my aspirations and passions come together!

Max Arioli, Merchandising Manager

I've been in love with bikes for as long as I can remember. I grew up in South Florida and started mountain biking - let's call it trail riding instead since we didn't have mountains - in high school. After graduating college, I headed to the Rockies of Colorado and Utah to embrace my love of all things outdoors. While out west, I became more and more passionate about being on trails and wanted to be in a place where riding bikes was the main focus. I moved to the Bentonville area in 2020 to be closer to the riding scene and to make my mark on an exciting new area.  After 20 years in retail management, it was time for me to make the transition to a more "back of house" position and I am so excited to bring my passion and experience to Phat Tire and the position of Merchandising Manager.

Gretchen Rogers, Marketing Manager

I grew up on the East Coast, lived all over the United States and raised my kiddo with my love for the outdoors.  My first real bike was a red Trek 850 Antelope that I rode around Nashville TN while attending Vanderbilt U.  A lifelong gym rat, my best friend introduced me to mountain biking at Turkey Mountain (Tulsa OK) in 2017.  Before rolling out my first time, I purchased a full squish and fell in love.  The last 3 years have been amazing, pushing my limits, crashing, and rolling again.   In addition to MTB, I have grown to love the pure simplicity of road and gravel.  I am incredibly fortunate to have found my dream job, working with an amazing team.  I am passionate about plugging people into a sport that I love.

Kevin Caldwell, Director of Operations NWA

I grew up in Southern California riding dirt bikes, BMX bikes, skateboards, and surfing. I bought my first quality mountain bike in 1990 and within 2 weeks I participated in my first MTB race. I was HOOKED. I raced throughout the Midwest and even received a college scholarship for cycling.  I won multiple regional titles and a Top 5 National Collegiate All-American title. Upon graduation, I pursued a corporate career and cycling took a back seat...for a little while.  My son’s interest in mountain biking rekindled my interest. I currently race mountain and cyclocross at the master’s level. I love riding the red dirt gravel roads of Oklahoma, introducing more people to cycling and supporting our shared passion in the sport.

Steve Palmer, Director of Operations Tulsa

My first bike was a Trek 3900 that I picked up at Lee’s Bicycles in 2005.  I rode a lot of mountain bike trails and eventually started racing.  I collected many trophies and socks along the way.  My first year racing, I took 2nd place in the Oklahoma State Championship, Cat 3.  In 2010, I went all in and started working at Lee’s Bike Shops.  I was part of the package deal when Lee’s transitioned to Phat Tire Bike Shops in 2016. I currently ride a Top Fuel 9.8 and a Madone 5.2.  My favorite thing about my job is that I get to help people on their journey towards a healthier lifestyle with an eye on comfort and fun.  My bottom line is “Have Fun” and I get to do that every day.  I have the Best Job Ever.

Kevin Kopack, Director of Operations OKC

I was born and raised in Edmond OK. I have been riding bikes forever.  I purchased my first road bike 4 years ago.  I then moved to Colorado and fell in love with mountain biking. Downhill became my passion. It is so exhilarating to hit a jump with enough speed to clear a 30-foot gap. I spent countless hours ripping the trails at Winter Park’s Trestle Bike Park. Since moving back to Oklahoma, I have rediscovered my love for the road, crushing out miles on my Trek Emonda. Phat Tire is the perfect place to work because I get to share my passion for biking with everyone who walks into my shop.

Seth Jacobs, Bella Vista AR

I grew up in SE Minnesota. I started riding BMX in 1988, racing for 12 yrs. I branched out and picked up mountain biking in the early 90’s racing for 9 yrs. I ride a lot of off road and I commute to work most days. I am also a member of Oz Trails Mountain Bike Patrol. Working in the cycling industry gives me the opportunity to change people’s lives with a bicycle. Bikes are multifaceted providing transportation as well as being a source of stress relief and fitness. Working for Phat Tire provides me with the resources and tools to reach my community and facilitate the continued growth of the cycling lifestyle in NWA.

Cory Enloe, Bentonville AR

I truly fell in love with cycling when I was 23, living in Fort Smith. I moved to an area with less cycling and indulged my passion for hiking and camping in the National Parks. I moved back to NWA in 2019 and picked up cycling again, progressing my skills. My personal favorite is mountain biking. Riding with my family has become a great source of joy. Coler Mountain is our favorite spot because of the wide variety of riding available. I find working in the cycling industry rewarding because I get to share my passion for cycling with other people and hopefully get them hooked. Being part of Phat Tire is special because of its historical and continued efforts in the shaping of the cycling community.

Mark Pickett, Fayetteville AR

My love affair with cycling began when I was a youngster on various trikes, bikes, and the memorable red Schwinn Bantam.  I fell deep when I discovered BMX freestyle, spending hours ripping around town learning flatland tricks.  I started pulling bikes apart and hounding the local shops with questions until they finally hired me at 14 yrs old.  I moved to Oregon in 2002 and ran my own shop for 16 years. I returned to Fayetteville AR in late 2018 where I can mountain bike, gravel ride, commute and just generally goof around with my friends and family on any bike.  I love spreading my joy for cycling to the community.

I grew up skating and riding a BMX bike. I rode all over the River Valley. I recently started riding again after retiring from the Army. I started mountain biking with other veterans and have grown to love the biking community. Working for Phat Tire Bike Shop allows me to share my passion with my River Valley community. I look forward to meeting everyone and spreading the love of cycling.

Rocket Woodlee, Siloam Springs AR

I am an NWA native, born and raised in Fayetteville. I moved to Siloam in 2019 with my family. I have been riding bikes since I was kid, but I found my true passion for cycling in 2018. It all started on the Razorback Greenway, but quickly transitioned to mountain biking on every trail I could find. My favorite aspect of cycling is that my whole family can take part. I love teaching my kids about bikes, riding, and the industry. My background is in small engine mechanics, and I look forward to transferring this skill set to the two-wheeled world. I can’t wait to engage with and grow the cycling community in my own back yard. I am stoked to be part of the Phat Tire family and I look forward to welcoming my Siloam Springs neighbors into my store and out on the trails. We are all in this together, one pedal at a time

I got into cycling around the same time that Phat Tire was getting started, 2007. My friend took me mountain biking and I fell in love immediately. In addition to riding, I loved wrenching on my bike fixing the little (& big breaks). Eventually, I melded it all together and started working in the cycling industry in 2020. Finding a job that allowed me to be around bikes all day and share my love of cycling with others is a perfect fit. I love that riding challenges us on so many different levels, both physically and mentally. My current bikes are a Trek Emonda as well as a Santa Cruz Chameleon & Stigmata. I can’t think of anything better than rolling out on the trails with my dogs running alongside me and exploring everything NWA has to offer.

Alex Rowan, Bentonville Rental Shop

I was born and raised in Bentonville, AR. It is hard to live in Bentonville and not love some form of cycling. My favorite is mountain biking. I realized that working in the industry would be epic. I could continue to learn about one of my favorite activities and I would be around people every day who are passionate about bikes too. Still, I think the best part is that I get to help visitors to my city and share my love of cycling with people every single day. I love holding down the fort at Phat Tire’s Bentonville Rental Shop and introducing people to the Mountain Biking Capital of the World.

Jake Bohrer, Tulsa Downtown OK

I grew up in NE Ohio and have been obsessed with bicycles since I learned to ride when I was 3.  I have been working at bike shops since I was 15.  I currently own 4 bikes:  an e-bike that is steadily replacing my car, a mountain, a road, and a BMX.  I do play favorites.  I ride my BMX almost every day and you can often find me riding at the Gathering Place.  I love nothing more than to connect people to the right bike in the hopes that they will love cycling as much as I do.

You never know where a bike can take you!  I’ve found adventures and new friends riding two wheels on the road, gravel, and dirt.  I fell in love with bikes as a kid roaming the neighborhood. Bike packing stole my heart a few years ago traversing the Great Divide Mountain Bike Route. I’ve enjoyed many epic cross-state road rides meeting new people and discovering new places. There are so many good things about my work in the cycling industry. One of my favorites is guiding people to find the best bike for them.  Whether it’s enjoying casual rides along the Tulsa River Trail, setting out on an ambitious cross-country trip, playing on the mountain bike trails, or tearing it up on a road bike, we have the team that can't wait to help make that happen.

Ryan Anderson, Edmond OK

I am from Salt Lake City, UT. I have been riding bikes my entire life. My love for cycling started when I bought my first mountain bike. I wanted to learn all about taking care of my bike, so I got a job at my local bike shop. I took a few years off to finish my degree and got right back into cycling and retail. I raced a lot of fat bikes in the snow, got some road time, and hit the Park City Mountain resorts in the summer. My family and my fleet of bikes moved to Oklahoma in 2021. I am excited to be in Oklahoma with Phat Tire and to serve the city of Edmond. I love making connections with the local cycling enthusiasts.

Dane Price, Norman OK

I am a native Oklahoman and have lived, worked, and enjoyed riding bikes my whole life.  My father’s recollection of my first bike ride is “You rode with training wheels to the end of the driveway and immediately told me to take them off.”  I rode with my friends, jumping curbs and popping wheelies.  I have an inherent love for the outdoors and a competitive nature. I moved around a bit and eventually realized that a life on two wheels is my pathway to great friendships, good health, and valuable community service. I found a collective of friendly, talented folks that love cycling at Phat Tire Bike Shop. Drop in and let us share the life enhancing experience of riding bikes. Bikes Change Lives.
