Our wax simply doesn't crumble during the chain movement, meaning you have more wax that protects the drivetrain for longer. Why we don't use Tungsten Disulfide (WS2) nor Molybdenum Disulfide (MoS2) additives. While these substances can exhibit super-low friction, they do it only in vacuum or inert gas. In normal humid air they not only have high friction but also very short life because of the rapid oxidation process. Using these additives in chain lubricant, where water is often present, is simply pointless. We also don't use any oils or paraffin oils in the mixture because it adversely impacts the friction. - 340g / 12 oz . +/- 4%. The TCS Tire Plug Kit uses durable "Rocket" anchors (because they look like tiny rockets) that stay in your tire and hold the plug in place. You will not lose a plug. The anchor will hold it in place like a ship at dock. But wait... there's more... You can reuse the anchors when you're all done. It's like a treasure chest when you need to swap-out your tires. The Rocket Plug Kit also features an 'Extra Hand' tool under the smaller cap. If you haven't pre-loaded the Rocket, the Extra Hand will temporarily plug the hole and take the pressure off while you prepare your Rockets and plugs. EXTRA HAND The Extra Hand (because who couldn't use an extra hand every once and a while) stopper can be pushed into the puncture to temporarily stop any loss of air while a rider determines how many tire plugs are needed and prepares to seal it. The Extra Hand can also be used as a reamer to create a more uniform hole for the tire plugs to seal. COMPACT AND LIGHT The TCS Rocket Tire Plug Kit is CNC’d from 6061 aluminum alloy with an integrated extra hand tool and plunger. It also has internal storage for four anchors (two large and two small included), and fifteen 1.5mm diameter tire plugs. Ready to Launch Rocket anchors can be preloaded with 1-4 tire plugs depending on the terrain and size of punctures riders typically encounter. Preloaded Rocket anchors are then placed on the plunger, ready to launch the moment a puncture occurs. The clock is ticking! TCS Tubeless TCS (Tubeless Compatible System) is WTB's standardized tubeless system. When you do get a puncture with a tubeless tire with sealant inside, this is a great way to fix it.
